Whatever souls are made of, his and mine are the same ~Emily Bronte
Ok, so this is actually a few days before the wedding, but it's the marriage license, which is key, so I'm including this pic.
This is at the walk through, look we're all matchy matchy!
Here are the boys: Dustin (the best man), Justin, My Dad, Hunter, and Steven (my brother). My step-dad missed out on this, but he's in more pics later.
And here are the girls! Hannah, Sussan (my step- mom), Me, D'Liesa ( my step-sister), Stacy (my sister) and Tommye (my Aunt and Maid of Honor). My mom missed out on this picture. She'll show up later too.
Here's Tommye stressing out about things coming together. They did.
My dad and D'Liesa practicing giving me away. It's bad luck for the bride to be herself, besides I took the picture.
My dad and D'Liesa again. She thought she looked stupid in the first picture, but I like it Ha!
My dad pretending to threaten Justin.
See, they're really friends...no drama here!
Me and my dad.
Havin' a talk.
Dustin and Justin before leaving the house. Let's get a move on!!
Dustin and Justin in the Gazebo.
My niece and nephew, Hunter and Hannah after running up and down the hill like maniacs. It's hard work running around like a maniac. Hannah hitches a ride from Steven
Me and Justin again, all of our pictures look the same because he holds the camera out and snaps. All together they make a very homogenous album.See I told you. Here we're supposed to be decorating the church for the reception, but it looks like we're just standing around. Look there's James(in blue)! Told you he'd make the cut!And here's me and my mom arranging the gift table...it looks kind of naked. That'll change.
Ok, now I'm going to move on to pics of getting dressed and heading out to the wedding itself. these are more fun. Here's me and Tommye getting ready. I look a little nervous.
Oh, here's why. I must have known that I needed to shove the comb from the veil a little further into my skull. Ouchh!! Hey! why is she laughing?!Here's Tommye pinning on my 'something old.' It's a gold butterfly pin that belonged to my Memaw.
Me and my dad leaving Tommye's house for the wedding!!Here's a closeup of the bouquet. I made it with my own little hands!Tommye and my mom's cousin Exa before the wedding.
My dad and Tommye befor the wedding. I'm hiding out in that car where it's cool.Stacy and her boyfriend, Chris at the sign in table. Weirdly in all the pics we have, there are more of Stacy and Chris than of me and Justin at the wedding.
I'll show you:James snuck into this one, but it's still S & C.
See. I told you.
D'Liesa and Hannah
D'Liesa lookin' a little stressed. Noah in background.Justin waiting at the "altar."Dustin and Tommye on the way...
Awww!
Here I come! For some reason, nobody took a picture of the actual kiss, so I'm using this one. It's probably better anyway."I now pronounce you"...and back down the aisle.Married!!More wedded bliss.James, Justin, me and Mom.Sussan, Justin, me and Dad.Justin's parents, Patsie and Rod, and us.Dustin (my step-brother), Ashlie (Justin's sister), us, D'Liesa, Stacy & StevenThe wedding party: Dustin, Justin, Steve (the pastor, obviously), me & Tommye.
On to the Reception. By this time, you probably need cake too...
Stacy and Tommye light candles at the reception before our arrival.
Ok, here we are with the cake etc.Cutting the cake. This was hard...But you have to be even more coordinated for this.
Cheers!I love this picture. My mom and James look wasted. Please note that they are not. There was no alcohol...which makes it even funnier.Sussan and our family friend Charlotte...also looking kinda wasted. Perhaps there's something I don't know.
Me and TommyeTommye and Stacy
I love this picture of Justin and Chris. Sort of looks like mini-me or something.Another mini-me, Dustin and HunterJustin kept wrapping his arm around me and pulling out my veil...so I did this a lot.
Dad and HannahDustin, sittin' around.
Dad making a toast.Exa, me, Justin, Mom & James (not looking wasted I might add).Hannah, probably up to no good.Justin's nephew, NoahJustin and his mom.
Justin lookin' all handsome...and hot.Tommye and the girls who helped pull this off: Harriet and ToressaMe and DustinMe, James and JustinSussan and Hannah and I think that dark, scary figure behind them is my dad...Garter removal. There are no pictures of the actual bouquet toss, so we faked it later. This picture is dark, but it's the guys running from the garter. This is Stacy lunging for, and catching the bouquet, after swearing she didn't want it.As you'll notice, Stacy caught the bouquet, and Chris caught the garter. Should we plan another shindig?Leaving the scene.Hannah and Hunter: This bubble thing is hard to figure out.Escape!
Whew! Made it! And just in time for a storm...look at the sky.Off to the beautiful and exotic city of Amarillo.
And finally, a tribute to the man that made none of these pictures possible:The photographer. Not taking pictures.
As usual.
Luckily, there were tons of other people taking pictures, see:
(Ok I know, the photo guy is actually in this picture, taking pictures, but he really did only take like 10 shots.)
Happily Ever After!
